Mario is a Managing Partner at 22m, and a Managing Partner at Misttral – a healthcare focused platform in the process of consolidating the sector across the region. Prior to joining 22m, Mario was a Managing Partner and CFO at Lottus Education, an edtech platform in Latin America with a total enrollment of more than 100k students across various operating brands.

Prior to Lottus, Mario was a Vice President at Credit Suisse and a member of the investment team in various high yield structured credit funds that raised and deployed more than US$1.5bn in capital. Prior to joining CS, Mario worked at Goldman Sachs where he was part of the Investment Banking team that executed M&A and capital markets transactions across Latin America.

Mario was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He spends most of his free time with his family, likes traveling and practicing sports such as long distance running and amateur boxing.
